Heys folks, what is the best way to find dead pixels on the Steam Deck OLED screen. Is there a tool or something that I can run to help me spot the dead pixels ?
Thank you
If you can’t see them, why go looking for them ?
This is such an annoying take.
Because you’re paying $600 for a product that shouldn’t have any dead pixels?
Why accept a subpar product when an RMA process exists to fix problems?
The best way to find dead pixels is to buy the LE… you will find plenty.
😂
Good luck - I received mine today and have a dead blue sub-pixel on the bottom center of my screen. I have another on the way, so hopefully that one is better :/
Thanks, did you check if your OLED panel was made by Samsung or BLE?
BOE unfortunately :/
Yes it seems like most people who do have it have the BOE panel. I got mine today and luckily I have the Samsung panel and I didn’t find any dead pixels. Good luck hope you get a Samsung panel for your replacement.
Oh nice! Congrats, I think that’s the lotto model haha. Does your B button stick at all?
No my B seems to be fine. I saw some posts about people getting units with X and B buttons getting stuck, but I don’t see that issue.
