Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding driving for 2000 KM. What is your advice? I’m planning a journey in a few weeks and will be driving approximately 2000 KM with my family (wife and 2 kids). I plan to take a rest for 15 to 20 minutes every 300 km. When I stop, do I need to turn off the car or leave it on? What is the best approach?

Additionally, what do I need to check before starting the journey?

My Car is KIA RIO 2015.

Thanks.

Spend some time cleaning the windshield spotless. If you stop at a service area that’s open during the trip you should stop the engine, then check the oil ( and you will check the oil ) after ten minutes. If you are at some scenic overlook 50 miles from the last town, then leave it running. Carry water and find print some paper maps. You may find spotty cell service along the way
