I’ve got a Taurus SHO (actually, it’s a 2012 Lincoln MKS that I’m going to put SHO struts on- been told they’re compatible since the MKS is just a "gentleman’s SHO) with 108k miles. Car spent a lot of it’s life in Houston and DC, plus it rides on 20s and low pros from the factory, so understandably it’s about time for some fresh OEM struts. Should I bother with springs, mounts, bellows(???) Etc? I’m just looking for an improvement in handling, cornering, and to a lesser degree the “smoothness” of the ride. My grandpa is going to help me replace them to save some money but I don’t know a ton about suspension components or cars in general (yet) I hope I didn’t come off as too idiotic, thanks.
