I have my LCD and want to transfer all my Emudeck emulated games and saves to my OLED, was wondering if the game saves are on the SD Card or my SSD? I was hoping to just simply switch out my SD card and put it in the new one and that’s that.

I have Wii, GameCube, Switch, PS2, DS etc games downloaded. My buddy is in a similar situation and his GameCube and Wii saves are gone after popping his SD card into the OLED (PS2 is there).

You have to use the emudeck exporter/importer. You can’t just swap the SD cards. The location of the saves depends on the option you chose when you installed emudeck.

Yeah I just tried that and it’s kinda messed me up, I followed the instructions and it didn’t work. I had 5 ish gigs free on my 1tb sd card, I used the export tool on the old deck then switched the SD card to the new deck and ran the import tool. Seemed to work well but it says I have 0 bytes of space now so I dunno what happened.

Emudeck doesn’t recognize the sd card now- tried to delete a ps3 game to make space but it vanished to places unknown when I tried to put it in the trash lol.

You need at least 80gb of free space for it to export and import properly.

Damn I didn’t see any sort of warning about that. It completely bricked my sd card
