Dealer found everything fine, I had to explain the symptoms over the phone and mention that I did it in front of another employee. I’m going to stop by early tomorrow with video evidence.
ps. In the days before going to the dealer I found a way to open it, placing my hand between the bulb (front light) and the hood to raise it. So technically it is unlocking, but the hood does not liftup.

This happened to me recently. It felt like I had lost tension after a few failed attempts to pop the hood…but turned out I just had to break up some rust by carefully inserting a screw driver through the grill and rotating to pry open the mechanical latch.I’m no longer having difficulty and the hood closes and locks fine again. Weird that it happened to you with such a new model though (mines 10+ years old)
