Is the steam deck loud when you game with it? Would it be annoying to sit next to it or try to sleep?
I want to game a bit in bed when my wife is sleeping next to me. Would it be to loud and disturbing or is it quiet?

It’s not too loud. But what I think is more important is your wife’s ability to sleep through sounds. My wife falls asleep to the office, so I can game all night if I wanted since she sleeps like a rock. But if your wife is a light sleeper, it could be frustrating for her.
Try it a few nights and just ask her how she slept. Communication is key.

Fans are louder than the buttons. I cant say i even know what the buttons sound like tbh, effectively silent
