Sorry for the clickbaity dumb title but I am serious, this thing is crazy. I own and have used the LCD model for quite a while now so I did not expect to be blown away so much by all the little changes and of course, the display.

I own 65 inch LG OLED and honest to god the Deck just instantly looks better even though they are both amazing displays using the same tech of course, but oh man that colour calibration and even lighting of all pixels is just chefs kiss on steroids.

On top of making the whole thing more sturdy when it comes to opening it, I realized the whole thing just feels more robust when trying to slightly bend it with my hands and whatever. Oh and on the LCD model if you did this the displays backlight would weirdly bleed more around certain areas, making it permanent even if you did not ever so slightly bend your Deck back (and no I did not use excessive force) and it was just distracting. The OLED does not have this issue at all.

I love this thing already. Why not of course it is more of the same but honestly it feels way more like a Steam Deck 1.5 at the very least instead of just a screen change and a bit more efficient APU.

Anyway, nothing that has not been said already, but I feel blessed to be alive in a time where we have gadgets like this. It is wild.
