So I built a PC back in April and for the most part everything has been working perfectly. Yesterday I turned on my PC and it is not connecting to the internet via Ethernet at all anymore which is weird as it has been working since I first built it.

My MOBO has the Intel I226-V and I have tried to re install and install the drivers again several times but no luck. It randomly started to work yesterday towards the end of the day but as soon as I turned PC on and off again it went back to not connecting to the internet. I also noticed I had something on my Network Adapters called 'Intel 82567LF Gigabit Network Connection which was showing up with a sign to say not working properly so I thought to uninstall that thinking it would install again automatically but it hasn’t and I also cant find anywhere to get that downloaded again but don’t know if that is an issue at all.

Does anyone have any idea on what I could do? I am new to all this PC building and a bit lost on what else I can try.

Try shutting down and physically unplugging power from your PC for a minute, then trying again. Works when my i225-V throws a Code 10 error (next time check the error code for the device in Device Manager).

Also make sure you have the latest BIOS.
