Aluminum or Copper?

I have a 2023 Acura Integra that I’m changing the oil on…. Does it make any difference if I use a copper washer on the oil plug? The OEM part is silver and I think aluminum.

The copper ones appear to crush better, but I haven’t had any issues with the OEM washers leaking. Anyone know if there is a difference?

Honda uses Al washers merely because they save a tiny bit of money when ordering crush washers by the ton. You can use whatever is more convenient for you.
