I want to gift my steamdeck to my nephew for Christmas.

I’d like to setup games ready for him to play. Via steam family sharing and also emulators.

Is there anything in particular I need to worry about.

I don’t want to tip him off so his account will not be logged into the SD.

Will things like controller settings for non steam games (emudeck) transfer over when he logs in? Or are those settings tied to the account.
