Martinelli/Saka getting doubled up in most of their offensive actions is a clear indication that our 8s need to provide more or gives better understanding to why we’re linked to the likes of a dominant threat up top in Osimhen, someone who’d attract more defenders and give our wingers more freedom. I also think having Timber fit would help Martinelli as we’d see more action from him in the overlap, like we do with White and Saka.
Havertz will do this but you guys are too stubborn to see it. Hopefully he regain his confidence and more importantly, people pass to him once for all.
Could Tomi not do that?
He has shown that he can on the left with Martinelli, but we only see that in the UCL where we don’t play many low blocks as of yet in comparison to the PL.
