Tomiyasu offers more in possession at left-back than he does at right-back. He doesn’t offer much on the overlap compared to Ben White.
He should mainly be used at left-back and centre-back once Timber’s back.
He doesn’t look that comfortable at RB to me.
It’s weird considering how good he was there his first season. But since the he’s been immaculate at LB and has had a bunch of super shaky performances at RB.
I think he could work on the overlap. He’s shown he’s comfortable with attacking & going forward, so if we tweak from inverting so much…
