Anyone else dealing with static white noise when using headphones plugged into the audio jack? I’ve used 3 different headphones and they all produce the same audible static noise. My friends Steam Deck OLED also has the same issue.

It’s a widespread issue. Look up this sub and there’s a mega thread somewhere. We’re all hoping it’s software issue because if it’s hardware they’ll prob have to do a recall

Or most likely: They hope the amount of people bothered by it is miniscule and let the people RMA who are bothered by it.

No way this is software issue. It’s interference.I plugged in my headphones (Sony XM4s, Sennheiser HD 598) via jack and also plugged in the charger and could hear even increased noise (humming, very significant) while charger was plugged in.Note: Humming in Sennheiser HD598 was very low, i would even mark it as acceptable.

So this has to do with different impedance of headphones (16 Ohm Sony vs 50 Ohm Sennheiser.)

So I think the solution is either return the unit, or use usb-c dongle as external DAC. (or bluetooth low latency headphones if you have some)
