I got a 22 Camry xse basically brand new the owner before only had it less than a year and I bought it with 4700 miles on it. How many miles it too many miles driving a week? I’m stay at home mom, I usually only drive my car once a day for errands, doctor appointments, etc. I also stay within my county I don’t go out towards downtown or any other cities. My last car was a 2014 Nissan Altima I bought it in 2017 with around 39k miles and it had 145,000 exactly when I sold it

Americans average over 14.2k miles a year which is higher than I expected but I assume that’s due to long commutes.

There’s no such thing as too many miles. It’s all about driving conditions. City driving, with its constant start-stop cycles is far harder on a car than someone doing long cross country trips on the highway. Of course, maintenance and overall age are also important considerations. Some components degrade even if the car is sitting in a garage.
