So I moved to a new apartment last week, and am having a problem. The driveway to road access is a little too steep.

Every time I pull out, the bottom of the front bumper scrapes a little.

I don’t mind the occasional scrape, but if it is a daily issue, I’m not sure what to do.

Unfortunately, I’m tied to this lease now, and finding a new lease isn’t an option.

How big of a problem is this? Any ideas in what to do? It isn’t a problem when I drive in, just when I reverse out.

Edit- It’s a very narrow driveway in the city. Usually there are cars parked on the road on both sides.

Under-bumper scrape guards are a thing. Never used them, but seems like the only solution for your problem short of carrying a couple 2x4s in the trunk as makeshift ramps
