1st gen tundra, V8 4WD TRD.

Things which have already been done:

  • Regular oil changes and brake pads when needed.
  • timing belt and water pump at 160k, (bought at 120k).
  • New radiator at 180k, it was leaking
  • Replaced crank shaft position sensor at 190k, as it went bad

Since I WFH since 2020, I try and drive it at least 2-3 times a week to go get lunch or run an errand.

Fluid maintenance and fixing any issues as soon as they arise are the key to longevity from any vehicle.

Trans fluid, p/s fluid, oil and coolant can not be serviced too frequently, most manufacturers “recommended” service interval is way too infrequent imo.

No vehicle has ever died because it was maintained too well.
