Havent had time to look yet but the battery is dead immediately after turning the car off. Only problem is that battery is brand new. Let the car sit for a week or 2 and it seems to have killed the brand new battery beyond charge. What are your opinions?

My parents have an 07 and the dome light will flicker while driving and it kills 12 volt batteries in under a week. Might be something worth looking into. Otherwise performing or paying for a parasitic draw test.
Make sure the alternator/battery cables are in good shape.
