So some context for this post, I’ve had my steam deck for about a year now and I love it. During that period I’ve almost exclusively used it over my switch, even choosing to emulate certain games on it just for the back buttons and improved performance. Only recently I picked up my switch and started playing Cat Quest II (which is available on steam) but it felt quite different in a good way. I love the way the Deck feels but I hope one day the Deck 2 will have the lightness of the Switch with all of the power and bells and whistles.
Do you guys have any games that you prefer to play on the Switch?
Switch exclusives and that’s about it
Anything I have a save already on the switch. I could export it, but I don’t mind booting up the switch on occasion
Anything the switch can run with zero compromise.
I know that’s not what ya’ll want to hear, but for me, lighter is better. But any compromise and it’s steam deck for me. And increasingly that’s most games.
Nah that’s a good reason. You want the best playing experience regardless of platform and I respect that.
I prefer the ergonomics of the deck but the newer Crkd Nitro Deck helps tremendously with that. That thing actually made me consider upgrading to the OLED switch.
Stardew Valley. Because my wife has a switch too and we can play it together.
the best thing would probably be games that just run better (totk etc.) and games that I wanna play online (mk8dx etc.). I mean I don’t have either games but if I did I would play them on the switch instead.
None….
just party multiplayer games, and only because of the joycons.
The only games I play on Switch are games that I can only play on Switch.
Any Tetris game.
I have 1000+ hours playing T-99 so any Tetris game feels wrong to me with another controller.
None, really. Having everything on one console is kind of the thing I love about the Deck the most.
Any physical releases that are not too expensives. I can buy it second hand, so cheaper ans resell it if I want (wich I don’t).
