While sad for such an expensive car and Ferrari being among the worst offenders, almost every manufacturer is guilty. This is why it takes a week or more once any imported car is taken off a container ship. They go right into prep right at the port, which includes fixing the paint.
You’d think the highest end brands would ship differently but it’s the same as how your average 40-50k import shows up.
What are these intermediate “prep” businesses called at the port?
I dislike a lot of things about my dad’s Harleys but I’ll give them credit, their paint is pretty damn good. Wonder how much it’d cost to get a similar level of quality/consistency on a car’s paint job, probably helps that there’s only one or two painted parts on a lot of harleys
