It has been out since 2019 and based on the previous gen release years (1, 2003) (2, 2008) (3, 2013) (4, 2019) there seems to be a refresh every five years except from the 3rd to 4th gen which is a 6 year gap.

It it worth it to get a 4th gen hatch now or will a new version come out in a year? What do you guys think?

If you wanna wait, Volvo is releasing the EX30 soon, a hybrid or full electric crossover that is REALLY affordable.

Now, if your only criteria is the model change, go ahead and buy a 2024, the model probably won’t change until 25-28, Mazda is focusing on suvs lately
