I’ve decided to go Porsche so I’m scheduled to go check out a used 2019 Cayman 718 S on Wednesday, I’ve already test driven it but we are going back to make the final decision. However, I’ve been notified there’s a used 2020 GTS that’s also available for around 15k more. My question is what’s the difference, and if I’m planning to do upgrades down the road would they end up getting to the same place in terms of performance and feel?
Double check me on this but I believe the 2019 Cayman S has a turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-four making 350 hp and 309 lb-ft. The 2020 Cayman GTS got a 6 cylinder 4.0 liter engine which made 394 hp, 309 lf-ft.
