Let me preface by saying I had two Hyundais before my CX-5, so I’d been dealing with years of terrible treatment at their dealerships.
Took my car in over the weekend to get a new tire (had a slow leak due to a screw embedded inside it). When I checked in I asked the service advisor how long everything would take as I wanted to make a massage appointment an hour later and needed to call them to confirm if I could or not.
The woman immediately got on the phone, asked if my tire was in stock, and then told the tech “Would you be able to get her in and out in 30 minutes? That’d be wonderful!” Sure enough, they worked their magic and I was able to make my appointment with plenty of time to spare 🙂
I know it seems like such a little thing but their service goes above and beyond in ways Hyundai never did. For those who have heard horror stories of their dealerships being absolute shit, they are all true (one time I had an oil change scheduled and the tech never checked me in, causing me to wait over 3 hours).
This woman’s kind gesture really made my day and I’m so happy I switched over to the Mazda family.
I also had two Hyundais before moving to Mazda, and the dealer experience is night and day.
Shit Korean vehicle experience +1!
Plenty of time to “spare”…nice
Unintentional pun! 🤣
Must be a good one, personally my local dealership was absolute shit and I would never trust them to repair my car again.
One was a recall repair for leaking around the top corners of each door, they just globbed glue on the joints, left it all sticking out and messy.
Other was for a vibration in the shift knob, they replaced some bushing and less than 10k later my whole transmission is toast. Conveniently just out of warranty time.
Not in canada. No matter if you are nice to them or not, they will still try to put you in the hole.
Just to agree on the crap Hyundai experience
I’ve had good experiences with the Mazda dealership. Much better than the Dodge dealership I had been dealing with.
Better than my experience, where an employee drove my brand-new vehicle for a trip to Micro Center before delivering it to me!
