Hey! Kinda embarrassed to ask but I can’t seem to get this working.
I know I’m supposed to lower the in-game graphics and then turn on the FSR slider. But I’m never sure how much the in-game graphics need to be toned down for FSR to kick in, especially if those settings aren’t conveyed in “numerical resolution” (e.g. 1280x800). For example, Yakuza Kiwami 2 has graphical settings labeled as “texture quality: high, medium, low”, “geometry quality: high, medium, low”, etc. How do I even set up the SD FSR in those kinds of scenarios? Sorry if this is really obvious :/
The only thing that’s relevant for FSR is resolution, you don’t have to touch any other settings.
Just set the ingame resolution to something lower than 1280x800 and set the game to borderless or windowed because the system-FSR doesn’T work with fullscreen. Then FSR can be set as scaling filter through the quick access menu(steam button) at the bottom of the performance tab to bring the resolution back to 800p.
You can check if it’s active by using the detailed overlay
