So, I’m testing the OLED Samsung 1TB / 512GB and the OBE LE Steam Decks against the original etched and glossy LCD’s.
I don’t have any dead pixels in any of them, but I did notice that the touch sensitivity on the OBE is more laggy when you move your finger across the screen. It is definitely not tracking as well as the Samsung displays.
It’s better than the older LCD, but not by much. This makes the OBE panel a no go for me. It’s a very stark difference.
If there is a setting to fix this that I don’t know about, please let me know.
So one thing I haven’t heard a lot of people mention, that you might be able to clarify, have you been seeing the 1 TBs mostly be Samsung panels, or is it a mix of Samsung and BOE? Because from what I’ve heard, the Limited Edition is all BOE panels, while the 512 GB is all Samsung panels, but I’m not sure the split on the 1 TB models, which supplier is more common and all that.
