My LE comes on Tuesday and after reading everything I’m dreading finding a Dead Pixel or a faulty button / DPad.

I’m hoping it’s perfectly fine like many other LEs but it would suck to have to return, wait for refund and order another. And for the price I definitely wouldn’t live with a dead pixel or two. I’ve got a trip coming up and I think if I have to return it, I’ll just get a normal OLED since it seems the quality control is better. Shame though cause I love the design.

obviously super nervous is a hyperbole, but I’m sending the call out to those anxiously awaiting their LE Decks so we can all come together on this thread and pray.

I’m not nervous, I’m a future oled owner but will wait for valve sorting it and the headphones jack hum first.

I don’t like to be a beta tester.

If it has a problem then rma or return it. There’s literally no risk. This has got to be one of the shittiest subs.

They sell thens of thousands of these. Some will certainly have issues and those with issues are going to post about it. Those that don’t have issues, aren’t going to post how good it is.

The same goes both ways - I was downvoted for just being indecisive as to what I want to do after noticing a dead pixel on my LE model. Within the first minutes of it being posted I was already getting downvote hammered. There’s shills that go both ways on this subreddit it seems.

Prayer is most effective under a clear night sky. Maybe get out of your house, pass your local hospital, turn left at the homeless shelter and cross the street when you hit a cemetery to find a nice park where you can pray/be anxious about your expensive electronic toy possibly not being in perfect condition, necessitating a wait of up to three whole weeks as you RMA it.

Best of luck. My LE looks/works great (tested for pixels). That’s not to say no on else has had problems though I do suspect problems are being over-reported vs other models because everyone with an LE is in a dither.

But, if you do have an issue, at least it doesn’t sound as though Valve will leave you hanging. Annoying to have to return/RMA it but you’ll get there eventually.

What’s everyone using to test dead pixels? I got mine yesterday and didn’t see anything.
