04 trailblazer with 4.2 i6 .I got it as my first car and looking to add my first modification to it. just looking for advice on what i can do to it.
Lift kits aren’t too expensive.
Any modifications to increase power should not be done. Just so you’re aware. It’s not a good idea with how old the car is. For suspension, that’s gonna be up to your taste. How you want it to ride, and how you want it to look. Even with the kit you mentioned being on there, there’s still a lot you can change. You can do wheels, tires, suspension, wrap, interior, grill, tail lights, and much more. Start looking at other people’s builds on your same car to get ideas, and go from there. Ultimately, it’s all up to you. I’d just steer clear of anything that puts out more power.
The kit I have isn’t not installed just yet as I need to find it cuz I lost it
Alright man. Take your time. Modifying cars is expensive to begin with, so you should go slow and really figure out what would be best.
First off, go through it and fix any worn out stuff. May some cosmetic mods if you like, although mostly these are kind of crappy looking to me. There are probably no worthwhile powertrain mods for the in-line six used in the Trailblazer. Cold Air Intakes make a bit of noise but usually no extra power.
