Haven’t oc yet only settings I did was xmp to 6400mhz ddr5. Gpu is 4090 gaming oc but idk if that matters

    What’s important to know my friend is that XMP IS overclocking, not stock, and is generally a fairly user friendly one, provided you’re not filling all of your slots. As far as 7200mhz as a minimum, that would depend on what your memory is rated for, if it said 6400 on the box, then getting it to 7200 or beyond without a lot of knowledge of how to tweak those sorts of things will likely be a huge bag of hurt to your sanity and computer’s stability.

    I’ve heard people get ~31k stock

    Maybe there are power limits on that board

    Also make sure you try and push your ram to at minimum 7200mhz

      Stock 7980X gets ~106k, while probably using the same amount of electricity as this.

      Gotta love 5nm FinFET!

    Looks exactly like mine. I can get 31000 if I really squeeze it, but it’s much easier (cooler) to keep it just shy of 30000.

    That is about what mine is. Or even higher if I let mine run the test a few times in a row. I think mine stabilized in the 24,000s after about 5 rounds.
