Took this off from back plate, since the LE looks better without it (the wrinkles were showing through the translucent shell and was bothering me), and so far I haven’t felt a difference in heat there. Not sure if it’s needed, with the new black heat shield above the copper Valve is using with the newer Decks. Anyone done proper testing on this with thermal imaging? I can still put it back on, but right now I’m thinking of just keeping it off, since I don’t notice a change.
