Vehicle is a 2014 Jetta Diesel TDI. Normally I do changes myself, but I needed a coolant flush and I was super busy. He said he doesn’t work on VWs often, but this was the only one within walking distance for my wife.

I just noticed the sticker today, car has done less than 20 miles. Do I need to change it? Has damage already been done?

Won’t cause damage. I will say if you drive a lot or plan to drive for a long period of time then yes, request the correct oil. The correct oil is thicker at higher temps and won’t burn as fast as the 20

The sticker may not even mean anything. Best bet is to ask what they used. The worst that might happen is a little oil burning in summer.

It may very well be he didn’t change the oil type on the sticker after inputing mileage. So correct oil, but moving too fast to change the oil type on your sticker. Can just call and ask. My dealer orders special bc we don’t carry it. Should be an easy thing to confirm
