I know you can only technically do Xbox Game Pass via “Cloud Gaming” on the Steam Deck, but I want to get a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on cheap just to test it out for a month and see if I can live with the latency.

What’s the easiest way to get that running on the Deck now? I’ve seen a few different methods but want to do whatever’s the easiest method possible since I’m still not really familiar with Linux.

I’m using Xbplay : it work perfect on SteamOS ! You have a trial for 20 minutes for testing (and if you want to remove the trial, you have to pay 5.99$ only one time to have unlimited access)

I tried with Edge method but you still have black bars ( Xbplay no black bars with correct settings )

With Xbplay, u can even add the game from Xbox cloud directly into your Steam library

I second this. using xbplay for months now and it’s been great. tons of features vs using browser. faster, more reliable, better looking. developer is very responsive if ppl have any issue
