Went on business travel to CA this month and decided to try driving a Tesla to see what it was like. Big mistake… coming home to my civic is painful. Coworkers told me a lot of my gripes like lack of buttons wear off after a month or so. I was already all in on electric for when my car eventually died but god, idk how long I will be able to stay ICE. Anyone else have similar experiences on test drives?

You got a Honda civic. That thing can last over 300k miles easy, if you wanted it to. It will never make financial sense to switch from your civic. But if you admit it’s purely a want more than a need, and you have the spare cash, then you get the EV.

ya, it’s only at 90k miles so I could realistically hold off for another 5 years minimum and still be fine. Which is why I semi-hate myself for trying it haha.
