    I thought about doing the temporary fix as you all mentioned but don’t know how long temporary is so I just pulled a radiator at the junkyard for $40 bucks… thanks every single person for taking time to respond. i read almost every comment and enjoyed seeing how creative you all are. hopefully i get this radiator in nicely and we’re good to go. i broke it while trying to force my alternator out

      Look at it this way. If the car is old enough to need a new alternator, then you are probably overdue for new coolant anyway. Coolant wears out the same as every other fluid in your car. It’s the longest lasting, but it still needs to be replaced eventually. But if I were you, I would’ve bought an aftermarket 100% aluminum radiator to prevent this in the future.
