I have the LCD Steam Deck and the OLED Deck so I compared them.

With the new update, it’s really not that different honestly! Of course there’s true blacks, but overall color isn’t as different as I expected since the update. I’m almost disappointed.

The other features - screen size, battery life, refresh rate, download speed, etc. - is probably worth an upgrade. But if we’re looking at JUST screen, I think the LCD is fine.

That being said, I’m a huge tech guy and love new tech and stuff, so I don’t think I’m going to return it LOL.

    The color difference looks pretty big to me. I don’t know how you can look at the Becastled and Day Z art with the image split happening there and say it’s not a big difference. The sky is actually blue in the Day Z image on the OLED.
