I’ve never seen an ICE car need two engines to drive all four wheels. Why do EVs need 2 motors? Wouldn’t a transmission be cheaper than another motor?

      I’m not anti EV at all. I’m waiting patiently for a Volvo EX30. It just occurred to me, is all, so I asked the question. 🤷🏻‍♂️

        No I can understand the inquiry. I’m a newbie too but crossing the line over to EV and seeing how toxic the community is towards EV buyers or owners is just horrid.

        I’m glad I haven’t spent 1700 on gas since my purchase (350ish a month) and have convinced two coworkers to go EV (one a Tesla Y and 3).

        They’re loving it but we’re haters prior to
