It’s always the way with these ‘physical teams’ the bar for them is much higher in regards to offences because ‘that’s how they play’ but lower for ‘soft’ teams because it’s perceived as being overly aggressive. It’s probably subconscious, but it’s been a theme in English football for the longest time.
