Hey can you guys help me? We just stalled after exiting the free way and we pushed it into a lot. The car was running fine all day, drove it about 80 miles there and 80 miles, and after we exited the freeway and brakes at a red light the engine stalled and shut off. Turned the engine back on and it was idling but putting it into reverse made it stall again. What’s wrong with my car?
Transmission issue, I’d get it towed and I would look up Nissan’s transmission warranties as they extended it to something but I’m not sure on your model and year, it idles fine and revs fine so that means your engine should be good, it only stalls when put into gear and obviously only factor being added is the transmission so that’d be my first guess, and might be the torque converter or possibly internal as it is a CVT and Nissan.
