Hello, my company is upgrading the current Lenovo laptops to Dell. I checked with IT if I can buy my current laptop after data clean up but they said it is not possible since they contract with a vendor to sell the laptop after the clean up. These are good quality laptops so I wanted get one without spending a lot. Does anyone has any experience buying company laptops from these kind of vendors. How do I find these vendors or are there any reliable companies from whom I get buy these kind of company laptops?

At one of my old jobs, we could sign up for an account on the vendors website, and we would get “partner” discounts on their refurbished equipment. If you have a HR page for employee discounts I’d see if your company offers something like that.
