Just got my OLED the other day and my only complaint is that the D-pad doesn’t feel quite as tight and snappy as it did on my LCD. It sits a lot looser in the case and feels mushier when pressed. I’m considering seeing about swapping them out, not sure if that’s a good idea or not.

Yep, myself and a ton of others are having the same problems with the OLED d-pad.

I took the d-pad and d-pad membrane from my LCD deck and put it into my OLED deck and everything is perfect now. Ordered a new set from iFixit so that my LCD deck doesn’t get stuck with a crappy d-pad.

The OLED deck d-pad sucks unfortunately.

Are you having any problems activating diagonal d-pad presses on your OLED?

My dpad seems to move around in the shell slightly and when it goes all the way down the down button on the d pad seems to click different kinda like it gets stuck on the plastic shell and has an uncomfortable tactile feel to it I gotta push the whole d pad up slightly
