Hey everyone, I have a 2020 mustang. I purchased the car about a month and a half ago and there’s a LoJack installed on it. It’s connected to the obd port and I’m assuming the ecu. It’s in quite an annoying spot, above my clutch pedal. I plan to tune the car soon and I need to be able to use my OBD port, I’d like to remove this device since I’m not even using it. I did unplug both wire harnesses from it once and the dash didn’t work and the infotainment system as well, plugged it back in asap. If y’all have any tips let me know, I’m calling the dealership tomorrow asap to see if they can do anything about it.
Gotcha. My friend who works with wires for a living said he’ll remove it for me for $30. It’s not behind any panels. It’s just in plain sight. Looks like there a wire connected to the obd and that wire connects to the obd section of the tracker at the top. At the bottom there’s another wire harness connected to the ecu I’d assume. I’m not great at wiring. Like I said, when I removed the wires the revolutions didn’t move when I revved the engine and the infotainment screen went black with an error
