So since the OLEDs come with the latest firmware you really can’t downgrade the firmware (beyond I guess manually doing it by flashing it?) If you encounter the bug, what can you do? I’m having to just manually set the GPU frequency but I assume that’s not an idea solution long term?

Not much we can do besides manually setting the GPU. We just have to wait for Valve to release an update to fix the issue.
