I went for a test drive today. I went in just wanting to test drive the cx-30. But ended up driving the cx 5 as well. I really liked the 5.

i only take my car to the train station and drive on weekends. The price difference between the 30 and 5 isn’t that large. I am concerned about the width difference. My current car is a 2006 corolla. The cx 30 is 4 inches wider. The 5 is 6 inches. Some of the parking spots are narrow. Am i over thinking this? I’m used to driving a sedan. So I don’t want to get something that will be too big for me.

I went to test drive the cx-30 and my wife liked the cx-5 that was parked next to it. I liked the cx5 more and ended up buying that. I have never had an issue parking, you’ll be fine.

Interestingly enough both the cx30 and cx5 were parked in my condo parking lot. It didn’t look like it would be a tight fit. Although im not as worried about my condo lot as i am the train parking lot. I wish there was a way to test it. Although i will pay attention next week if there are any cx 5’s in the lot.
