Getting rather desperate as I used to have no problem, but now I can’t even launch Assassin’s Creed Origins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
AC Unity launches fine for me, just have to enter my password when ubisofts dumbass launcher pops up
Third party lockers blow monkey butt. They constantly break - no shocker to me to hear they may be down again.
I don’t currently have any Ubisoft stuff installed, but let me check it out and get back to you.
Installed Uno (the new fixed version without the old locker) and it updated, then failed to launch the first time.
Second launch, the Connect client updated … and the game played.
I assume you tried it more than once?
I’d rather not have to install another big ass AC game to test this :D
Tried more times than I chose to keep count of. Tried launching it, proton experimental, proton ge 8-25, changing the MTU to between 1400 and 1500 (multiple values), using my cell phone’s personal hotspot. Nothing has worked. Keep getting “Connection lost. A Ubisoft service is not currently available. Please try again later.”
Yeah, you need my FIXING UNO video. I forgot my viewers reported it working with Origins.
