There are already manufacturers which make light vehicles with a maximum speed of 45 kph power by gas or diesel. Ligier and Aixam are two of them. Aixam even has a electric version, but it is more expensive than the Amie. They are quite popular in Italy and Spain if I’m correct. I’m just wondering how they are doing now considering a big OEM starts cutting into their market segment. I’m afraid they can’t compete with their low quantities.

do they need a crash rating in italy?
