Rayas positioning on crosses has cost us goals already. Hes had multiple massive scares passing straight to the opponents. Hes nowhere near the consistent level of Ederson or Allison. Theyre the sort of level where you can say it would be an upgrade
I dont care that most of you will disagree. I standby that this is £27 million we need to invest elsewhere rather than sign Raya
IF we didnt buy Ramsdale for £30million with the viewpoint of him being an upgrade on Leno for the future then fine. But its almost like admitting signing Ramsdale was a mistake

This is just cherrypicking unless you consider all the times his aggressive positioning had worked to our benefit either in a caught cross or a quick counter attack.
And you’d have to do positive/negative for Ramsdale as well.
Let me tell you, the Ramsdale list is a lot worse. His distribution is not as good as Raya. Raya didn’t come in and convince 100% of fans but it’s ironically the “Ramsdale propaganda” in the media that’s dragged this out longer
