The positive cable was loose on my battery (was unaware) and I started my car. The car did not start but all of the lights, radio, and my heater worked.
Dash voltmeter was reading 3v. Upon inspection, I realized the cable was loose (essentially detached from post on battery) and tightened it up, and the car started and ran fine.
The problem is that now my blower motor is making a humming/ droning sound when I turn my heat on. It’s not too bad on lower settings but gets really annoying when I set it to high.
I guess my question is: can you damage a blower motor from running it on a low voltage? Anything I can check before replacing the blower? This one is confusing me
