2011 sonata, I had the front and rear rotors and pads changed about 2 weeks ago, but the rattle appeared recently, like a week ago. it is a deep, sort of metallic rattle from the front of the car that happens when i go over bumpy road with no brakes. no idea what it could be and i am not very mechanically inclined, should i just take it in somewhere?
Take it back to the shop that did your brake and ask for a complementary inspection with the wheels taken off. Any reputable shop that does such work would do so readily and through that you may get a complimentary piece of advice on what is wrong. I wouldn’t do anything or go anywhere until you do that. If the shop won’t investigate it free of charge the question is, what are you doing going to bum auto shops? 🤣
Jokes aside, have them look at it. Always start with the most recent change and work forward.
