The 2000-2018ish years were rough for audi. Reliability and styling went downhill for most of their lineup, and they’re aging horribly. My mom’s S Line A4 next to my M-sport 228 looks awful. We bought the same year, for pretty much the same price, with similar miles, and even similar greys. I’ve got a manual and my car looks 10x better. I’d say that’s most likely true across both the lineups and their competitor’s
They really turned it around. Being an Audi employee I couldn’t agree more with you about the time period you cited. It almost killed Audi. Luckily they realized where they fell short and changed the game in my opinion.
