I found a round brown filter in my driveway when I drove back home after running errands.

Is there any chance this thing fell off my car?

I have a mechanic appointment booked next week for regular service and wonder if I’m safe just driving around until then.

    I’ve never seen an air filter for a car that is that open. Generally it’s going to be closed on one side, the other side will be like 3 or 4 inches where the air intake pipe will go in. I’m going to agree with the people saying shop vac filter.

      Yes, I’m certain this is correct! I’ve had a chance to look at the HRV filters and they are totally different. I’m pretty sure I remember a moment yesterday when I picked something up in the undercarriage. Either that or it just blew over during high winds. Thank you very much for your reply!
