I just noticed this sticker on my gas tank cover on my X5M60i.
Anyone got any explanations? Just curious.
Shellouts
Just a paid advertisement essentially. Use top tier fuel is essentially what it’s saying.
Bmw m can fellaciate my ass.
There are several YouTube videos actually using Shell and Chevron as well as other top brands on the dyno. Shell and Chevron always come out on top.
Seems hard to believe the additives could really make that much of a difference. The fuel itself is generally the same among the brands. Only the additives change, and even then only a few brands have their own branded additive. Shell is one of them, chevron is another.
Thoughts on Rotten Robbie’s gas?
In my country cheap fuel is 95, good is 98. What the hell is this?!
Different countries have different octane ratings.
So it would be 91 octane? Or is this 98 octane and 91?
91 in the US is equivalent to 95 in Europe.
Here’s a good conversion website http://www.pencilgeek.org/2009/05/octane-rating-conversions.html
The placement is an after thought lol. “Damn, forgot the the shell sticker”
I only got Quick trip Oncue Casey Phillips 7/11 very rarely Shell.
Exxon 93 is the jam
Same. Shell 91 or higher
Laughs in Costco
It’s all marketing, just like how they partnered with Castrol. Use the right grade of fuel and you’ll be fine
I have one on my M240i, but it’s not crooked.
I only use Shell fuel in my BMW. Will go out of my way to only reful in Shell. Just dont trust other companies.
The only place where I got bad gas or a cross-drop is Shell. I never get gas from Shell. Fuck em.
