The OLED version now uses all different drivers! I didn’t see the drivers page until after the install. I can confirm that Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Audio currently do NOT work on Windows, I even tried CCleaner as a last ditch effort and it couldn’t install proper drivers either.
I am in process of setting up my SD card with windows. I thought the existing SD drivers from OG SD will work fine on OLED.
Was it buggy?
It’s a different WiFi and Bluetooth chip, so those won’t work at all without new drivers.
Sounds like they also tweaked the audio device, so you won’t be getting any sound, either.
I’d just wait until they post all of the supported drivers. It shouldn’t take more than a few weeks.
Thank you
Speaking about dual-boot it looks like valve already add refind script for dualboot support on 3.5.7 https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsOnDeck/comments/1820sbc/new_os_selector/?sort=new
Ew, only ever had problems with refind compared to clover
does it have the updated fan curve because on lcd steam deck windows it uses the old loud one
Just dont use the bloatOS 😉
Seems better to have a steam deck for steam os and a rog ally/legion go for windows
That’s my plan as soon as the go gets some more software updates lol
Enterprise LTSC IoT iso says hi. Github script to activate it for free says hi
That’s exactly the version I want of Windows 10, no Cortana, no BitLocker, no OneDrive, no Microsoft store, no Xbox app, no ads, ability to pause Windows update til Microshit fixes the broken updates they force Home and Pro users to beta test.

Well, I haven’t bought any games yet that require a Microshit account to play SOLELY offline.
It’s not even an account that certain games require, im not extremely knowledgeable on it but installing the store itself installs the dependencies needed for certain games(I’m not talking about the usual dependencies that we all know). I never even signed in to the store. From what I recall when I was messing with ltsc iot on the deck around 8 months ago, it was certain xbox game studios games that needed it installed
Eh, pretty much every Microshit game published on Steam requires an account (and likely the worthless store). IF I ever deign to purchase the games dirt cheap, I’ll just “pirate” the cracked copies to avoid a worthless account as I don’t give the SMALLEST fuck about any kind of multiplayer, I shouldn’t be forced to create an account just play a game OFFLINE (which is why I’ve NEVER purchased any games that require an external launcher and/or account)
